Is the $30,000 for 8% negotiable?
No, all companies receive the same investment in exchange for the same equity stake.
What does a typical day (or week) in the program look like?
The program is intense and fast-paced, meaning every day is different but likely to include several of the following: presentations from business leaders on identified topics, meetings with your lead mentor to check progress, practice pitches, independent work time, meetings with in-house business consultants, attending The eFactory and community events, and more.
I’m not from Springfield. Where would I stay during the program?
No worries! We’re happy to help out of town teams or individuals explore affordable short-term housing options.
Do I have to be present every day during the twelve weeks?
You (or other members of your team) need to make a strong efforts to be present and engaged during the program. We understand scheduling conflicts do occur, and encourage you to plan ahead and communicate that to program staff.
What’s involved with the Demo Day at the end of the program?
The eFactory hosts a public demo day for accelerator participants to share their progress with the local business community (including potential investors). Your final public pitch will give you a chance to preview your product, talk about milestones achieved in the last twelve weeks, and ask for feedback and/or follow-up investment.
Do I have to remain in Springfield after the program ends?
No, but participants are required to retain an active presence in the state of Missouri for one year after the program ends.
