The eFactory wins InBIA’s January IMPACT award

We’re the university incubator of the month!

The eFactory is excited to receive the January 2018 IMPACT award from the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA).  The InBIA IMPACT awards are designed to recognize high-impact organizations that are moving the needle in their communities and regions.

InBIA reviews six categories of entrepreneurship centers, including: technology, mixed use, university (that’s us!), biotech/cleantech, rural, and specialty, including food, women, makerspaces, social, and other niche centers.

And while winning the January award is cool, what’s even cooler is that we’re now in the running for InBIA’s Incubator of the Year awards! Join us in keeping your fingers crossed until the big announcement in April.

The fine folks at InBIA had this to say when recognizing The eFactory with the January 2018 IMPACT award for university centers:

“Serving as a one-stop shop for startups and small businesses, The eFactory resources include the Small Business and Technology Development Center, Management Development Institute, Jordan Valley Innovation Center and numerous community partners. Services include business consulting, training and leadership development, office/coworking spaces, an accelerator program, mentorship and corporate innovation.

Since opening their doors in 2013, The eFactory has served over 700 business clients that have created over 1,000 jobs, secured more than $48 million in capital and equity, and had more than $7 million awarded in research and grant support. In addition, nine companies have graduated from eFactory’s accelerator program. The eFactory’s incubator office space is currently fully occupied with over 45 client companies that have 140 employees.”
