People throughout organizations are expected to generate the best possible outcomes, and to do so, they must work effectively with their immediate teams, as well as with members of extended teams. The best teams work together fluently, and they do it by mitigating interpersonal friction, cultivating a positive work environment, aligning values and goals, valuing individual differences, and improving performance by setting clear team expectations.\nAgenda\nSuccessful participants will:\n\nDescribe differences between Work Groups and Teams.\nDiscuss the three characteristics of High Performing Teams.\nAssess and describe how team differences strengthen team performance.\nExamine Tuckman’s Team Development Model and assess their own team’s phase.\nPractice the Five Steps for Forging Team Expectations.\nDiagram and assess immediate and extended team connections in terms of time, importance, and quality, to identify where time could be better spent.\nTake stock of their own level of trust within their team.\nDescribe Positive and Negative Interactional Energy.\nPlan how they will use each of the Five Key Factors to refuel team connections.\nRecognize innate personality differences and leverage the differences for better communication that leads to enhanced results\n\n \n \n \n
