DESCRIPTION:This course will look at active shooter data over the years and break it down into categories such as location of events, days of the week, times, shooter profile, relationship, type of establishment, and much more.  The data has been compiled by Dr. Bill Sandel who works for Missouri State University School of Criminology and for ALERRT at Texas State University.  Additionally the class will involve officers testing out our Street Smarts virtual reality firearms simulator to test skills and proficiencies in shoot and don’t shoot scenarios.\n
