Christopher Lazzaro's passion is to lead leaders to develop remarkable products and experiences where technology intersects with people, design, and business. Christopher's work and leadership centers on his deep belief that everyone has the potential to lead a great change once they are called to a higher purpose and empowered to do what only they can do.
Chris currently is the Managing Director of Solutions Engineering at Associated Electric Cooperative, where his nine teams are responsible for all customer-facing technology products. These products include mission critical systems such as the 24-7 energy management system that operates a power grid spanning three states, as well as systems that keep nine power plants running smoothly. Chris' product teams are also responsible for Associated's big data systems, including the software running a 24-7 power sales brokerage, a multi-terabyte energy forecasting system, and the company's ERP backbone.
Chris also provides leadership in the startup space. Chris founded a startup called MetaMythic that provided innovative employee training products and became internationally recognized for thought-leadership in the cyber-security, human learning, and human performance space. Following MetaMythic, Chris was Venture CTO for tech startups Easy Access Hunts and FiTbyPhase, guiding development of their business strategy and software product offerings.
Finally, Chris draws from a diverse background of experience. As adjunct professor for five years, Christopher developed business programming curriculum and taught at Drury University’s Breech School of Business. Over a ten-year period, Chris provided technology advisory and product development services for Fortune 500 companies. Christopher is a regular keynote speaker in the national conference circuit, speaking at dozens of human learning, human performance, and cyber-security conferences.
Christopher and his wife Courtney, along with their two boys, Atticus and Tolkien, live, play, and have grand adventures across the globe and near their home in downtown Springfield, MO.

Let us know you'd like to sit down with a mentor by completing the application form. All mentor sessions are 30 minutes long.
We will review each application and connect you to the mentors we think will be most helpful. Due to the number of applicants, we can't guarantee everyone will get a meeting with a mentor.
We will notify selected applicants at least one week prior to the scheduled mentor session. All information shared in mentorship meetings is confidential.
