As the manager of Strategy & Planning for the Ag & Turf Division of John Deere Jeff lead strategic planning and governance for the division. During this time, he was also supporting key business improvement projects to enhance the company’s M&A processes and activity. Throughout Jeff’s career, he has shown a keen ability to drive sales growth and channel capabilities across the globe. These experiences led to many unique opportunities to deliver new ways to grow and market this iconic brand.
Following his graduation from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a BS in Business Administration, Jeff joined John Deere’s internal audit staff. During the first three years with Deere he conducted financial and procedural audits across John Deere’s North American manufacturing and marketing units. And then he found his passion.
Jeff moved into a 30-year career focused on sales and channel management holding positions of increasing responsibility within the North American sales organization before taking on global assignments. His roles included Director of Sales and Marketing for India while residing in Pune. He was the Global Marketing Manager for John Deere’s utility tractor business, which included managing regional teams in Germany, India, Brazil and the US. He also served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for China, headquartered in Beijing.
