John Horton

John Horton graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a BS in Computer Information System and initially worked for a national software company in the health care industry. After 15 years and the company selling to a publicly traded firm, John started a computer sales and service business.   

Initially starting from working home, Layer 3 Technology ultimately grew to 25 employees and over $4 million per year in revenue. In 2017, he sold the company to a national corporation and worked the transition for two years. John has since started another consulting firm helping business with their technology strategy.
