Laura Anderson brings a rich background in education, communication, and trauma-informed systems work to her role as Training Specialist. At efactory, she supports noncredit training programs for the Missouri SBDC at Missouri State University and efactory, helping ensure that programs serving entrepreneurs, professionals, and statewide partners run smoothly behind the scenes.
Before joining efactory, Laura worked in public education, family advocacy, and nonprofit programming, with a focus on relational resilience and support for families navigating complex systems. She also spent seven years at Missouri State University in student support and administrative roles. Returning to campus in a new capacity reflects her ongoing commitment to making big systems feel more accessible.
Laura holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Missouri State University. She is passionate about equity in education, supporting families through systems change, and making training feel less like a checkbox and more like a turning point.
Outside of work, Laura is a dedicated mom of four, a baseball fan, and a big believer in coffee-fueled connection.
