Investing in our community to make more collaboration possible.
For more than 13 years, Missouri State University’s efactory has been a place where people come together.
Entrepreneurs have traded ideas over coffee. Partners have pulled up a chair for an impromptu conversation. Members have crossed paths, made introductions, and found new ways to collaborate.
Thanks to support from the Missouri Technology Corporation and investment from efactory and the Missouri State University Division of Community and Global Partnerships, the collaborative space at efactory has undergone its first major renovation since opening in 2013.
On Sept. 30, we hosted a Grand Reopening of the Perch to share our excitement over the updated space.
The upgrades extend beyond The Perch, with improvements also made to the CoxHealth Innovation Room and Forvis Mazars Room, spaces used for professional development, meetings and events.
More than a refresh
There are fresh finishes, upgraded surfaces and facility improvements. But the real transformation is about creating a space that works better for the people who use it.
The updated spaces offer a welcoming, flexible environment for conversations, connections and collaboration that bring people, ideas and opportunities together.
Sometimes the best ideas happen when you grab a seat next to someone you haven’t met yet. They happen when a casual conversation turns into a new connection. They happen when someone says, “Have you thought about…?” That’s the kind of energy efactory was built for, and it’s the kind of energy we want to keep growing.
