We’re looking for help
The efactory is accepting applications for a marketing graduate assistantship. If you’re a graduate student with an interest in marketing, social media, videography, and other fun things we want to hear from you! The position will start in the fall of 2018 when the new school year kicks off.
A little about us
The efactory is an entrepreneurship center designed to assist startup and growth in new small businesses and continuing education and training in mature organizations. The efactory is proud to be part of IDEA Commons, Missouri State University’s vision and commitment to create an urban innovation park.
Serving as a one-stop shop for startups and small businesses, efactory resources also include university-related programs such as the Small Business and Technology Development Center, Management Development Institute, Jordan Valley Innovation Center and numerous community partners.
Services include business consulting, training and leadership development, incubator office space, coworking, an accelerator program, mentorship, and corporate innovation
What You’ll Be Working On
We’ve got lots of opportunities for this GA to dig in and help the efactory, SBTDC, and MDI. This position will work on projects for all three programs, and it’ll likely be a mix of creating marketing collateral, assisting with social media marketing, developing website and blog content, shooting and editing photo and video, and more.
We’re looking for someone who can balance multiple projects and deadlines while working across teams and communicating effectively.
Eligibility
- Be admitted to a graduate program at Missouri State
- Hold a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0; an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 in your last 60 hours; or a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on 9 or more hours of your most recent graduate course work
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA to continue eligibility
