Our team is growing again! The efactory and Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) are accepting applications for a Technology & Commercialization Specialist.
This staff member will work closely with small business owners and entrepreneurs on all things commercialization and technology. We’re looking for a team player who’s ready to hit the ground running and loves to engage with big ideas.
About the role
The Technology & Commercialization Specialist will work with the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and efactory to provide consultation services to start-up and small business clients on a wide range of topics including:
- Technology commercialization
- Innovation
- Small business management issues
- Accessing capital
- Financing
- Marketing
- Human resources
- Strategic planning
- Business assessment

The efactory is an entrepreneurship and innovation center that assists startups and small businesses. The Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) is a program of the efactory and part of a nationwide network that supports small businesses with training and consulting services.
The efactory and SBTDC are proud to be part of IDEA Commons, Missouri State University’s vision to create an urban innovation park in downtown Springfield.
