The efactory and Missouri SBDC at MSU are excited to share that we have received an international award!
Supercharge Southwest Missouri was named ‘Most Innovative Program’ at the International Conference on Business Incubation of the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA). The award honors incubators, accelerators, and other entrepreneurial support organizations that think “outside of the box” to implement high-impact programs.
Launched in 2021, Supercharge Southwest Missouri is a collaborative, regional initiative that empowers entrepreneurs, small business owners, and innovators throughout 16+ counties in Southwest Missouri. The program removes barriers such as cost and geography, offering world-class support resources in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats to meet entrepreneurs where they are.
Participants gain access to no-cost resources including business consulting, executive level mentorship networks, and office hours with professional service providers. The program also includes a full suite of on-demand business training. These expert-led modules cover everything an entrepreneur needs to successfully start a business, including customer identification, financial management, effective online marketing, and more. The easy-to-understand curriculum is delivered through an online learning platform and can be watched anywhere, anytime.
Supercharge Southwest Missouri is supported by a network of 60+ Supercharge Supporters who are committed to enhancing our offerings, sharing with their networks, and supporting entrepreneurship and innovation throughout Southwest Missouri.
Supercharge Southwest Missouri is funded by a Missouri Building Entrepreneurial Capacity Program (MOBEC) grant award from the Missouri Technology Corporation. The program is powered by the efactory and Missouri SBDC at Missouri State University.
The award was presented at InBIA’s 36th International Conference on Business Incubation (ICBI36), hosted in Atlanta, Georgia June 26-29. InBIA is the largest member-based entrepreneurial support network in the world with more than 1,200 members in 30 countries representing incubators, accelerators and entrepreneurship centers. The conference brings together hundreds of entrepreneur support professionals from around the world to connect, share best practices, learn about current trends, and more.
