Big Benefits to efactory Members Thanks to Partnership with Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce

Perks include business resources and health benefits package.

A new partnership between Missouri State University’s efactory and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will provide expanded benefits for businesses in efactory’s incubator program.

Beginning Oct. 1, all current efactory incubator members will receive a one-year Chamber membership at no cost, thanks to in-kind support from the Chamber as part of efactory’s match commitment for a Missouri Technology Corporation MOBEC Operations grant.

The partnership offers efactory members access to the Chamber’s full range of resources, including networking opportunities and engagement with the regional business community. The Chamber is a representative voice for business and by offering memberships to the startup community, this helps amplify the unique challenges and opportunities that exist within these early-stage companies.

Additionally, efactory incubator members will have the opportunity to provide employee benefits such as health insurance through the Chamber Benefit Plan, powered by the Missouri Chamber Federation and administered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

“Startups and entrepreneurs are critical drivers of innovation and job growth in our region,” said Matt Morrow, president of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. “By extending these membership benefits, we’re ensuring that the next generation of business leaders is connected to the resources, relationships and advocacy that help businesses thrive in the Springfield region.”

“This partnership with the Chamber is a natural and powerful match since both organizations are built on the strength of our members,” said Emily Denniston, director of community engagement and operations at  efactory. “By connecting our two networks, we’re providing our entrepreneurs with the resources, connections, and support that are essential for them to focus on what they do best: building amazing companies.”
