Event to be held Nov. 5 at The Library Center.
Hanging up a military uniform is one of the biggest transitions a veteran can face. For those whose next mission is entrepreneurship, the path doesn’t have to be a solo deployment.
The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Missouri State University, in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE, and Missouri APEX Accelerator, will host Boots to Business Reboot from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at The Library Station (Santa Fe Room), 2535 N. Kansas Expressway.
This no-cost training event will equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential resources, training and strategic support to successfully launch their next chapter as business owners. It is open to the public, but it will have a special focus on veterans and military spouses, who bring discipline, leadership, and mission-driven skills that translate directly into entrepreneurship.
Key topics and presentations will include:
- Developing and testing business concepts
- Building a business plan
- Exploring financing options
- Connecting with local resources
Boots to Business Reboot 2025 will feature expert speakers, interactive sessions, and valuable networking opportunities. Registration is free and includes lunch, but space is limited. Secure your spot today at https://www.sba.gov/event/75128
