Collaboration in Action

Building, Learning, and Innovating Together.

This semester, Reliaverse, an efactory member company, has been prepping for full launch. Founder Chad Boschert has been hosting Elise Summers, a participant in the Entrepreneurship Intern Pilot Program, and together they’ve been bringing new software to life.

“With Reliaverse, we’re actually building brand new software from the ground up,” Chad explained. “As Elise’s skills have grown, I’ve been assigning her more and more things. We’re both working in the codebase together and have a really nice collaboration.”

As the team builds their MVP with plans to launch in early 2026, Chad is especially enjoying the chance to mentor an aspiring entrepreneur.

“It kind of scratches two itches,” Chad said. “One is I really like to mentor people, and being a solopreneur, I don’t get a lot of opportunity for that. And two, Elise is committing actual code to the codebase, so that’s been really nice as well.”

For Elise, this internship has been a chance to deepen her hands-on experience in a professional environment while exploring new ways to learn and contribute.

“This time, it’s very hands-on, which I enjoy,” Elise shared.

Previously, Elise participated in the Entrepreneurship Intern Pilot Program with a different member company. That experience focused more on social media and marketing, so she was excited to see what other aspects of business she could learn by going through the internship again.

In addition to the hands-on learning, Elise has really appreciated the opportunity to learn from team members from The Great Game of Business and the Missouri SBDC at MSU. The capstone project – the MiniGame she’s had to create for each member company – has been a creative outlet and a gratifying part of the program.

“I want to learn as much as I can in as many different ways as I can, especially coding in a real-life application. Doing it in the classroom is a lot different than doing it in the professional aspect.”

As the semester wraps up, both Chad and Elise are looking ahead, with new skills, new features in the works, and a shared sense of accomplishment.

Their story captures exactly what the Entrepreneurship Intern Pilot Program is all about: real-world learning, creative problem-solving, and meaningful mentorship that benefits everyone involved.
