Welcome Midwest MSP

A Father-Son Team Bringing Big-Picture Tech Support to Small Businesses.

When Dusty Klingler walks into a room, you can tell he’s spent a lifetime solving problems. After building a technology career that stretches back to the 1980s, and currently serving as CTO and co-founder of OMNI Corrections, an efactory member company, Klingler is returning to his roots with a new venture. And this time, he’s bringing his son, Brandon, along for the ride.

Their new company, Midwest MSP, is designed with one mission in mind: provide small businesses with the kind of thoughtful, long-term technology support most service providers overlook.

While many managed service providers focus on tools like antivirus systems, software updates, backup protocols, Midwest MSP flips the approach.

“We want to treat your IT like it’s part of your business, not a light bill,” Klingler said. “Small businesses rely on technology just as much as large companies. They deserve tech support that understands their goals.”

For Dusty, this new business feels like coming home. Years before launching OMNI Corrections, he operated a value-added reseller business helping organizations plan and manage their technology. He later spent nearly two decades at the Federal Medical Center in Springfield, continuing to support IT strategy and infrastructure.

Now retired from federal service, Dusty is pouring that expertise into building Midwest MSP alongside Brandon, who handles first-line support while Dusty provides second-tier technical leadership and decades of experience. The model is simple: one predictable monthly fee per device, and comprehensive support that covers everything from cybersecurity and backups to troubleshooting and on-site service.

But the approach is anything but ordinary.

Instead of asking, “What software should we install?” Midwest MSP begins with, “What does your business need to achieve?”

Whether it’s boosting productivity, preparing for growth, or simply ensuring a team can work without constant tech interruptions, the Klinglers want to help small businesses use technology intentionally, not reactively. And importantly, they’re committed to working with companies that larger MSPs often overlook.

“There are a lot of small shops with two, three, five people, who need real support but can’t meet the minimum revenue requirements of bigger providers,” Dusty explained. “We’re a small business too. We understand that need.”

Midwest MSP is already putting down roots in the efactory and connecting to programs through the Missouri SBDC at MSU. They’re even offering a 20% discount to fellow members and making themselves available for support, guidance, and protection against the evolving risks of doing business online.

With Dusty continuing his leadership at OMNI and Brandon stepping forward to serve clients across the region, Midwest MSP is building something meaningful: accessible, human-centered tech support for the entrepreneurs who keep our community running.

And we’re thrilled to welcome them to the efactory family.
