Taking the Stage at ICBI40

International conference will feature Missouri State, efactory session.

We’ve got some big news. Missouri State University’s efactory is heading to the 40th International Conference on Business Incubation (ICBI40), happening April 12–15, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. Even better? Rachel Munday and Dr. Jason DeBode have been selected as speakers at this global event!

Hosted by the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), ICBI40 brings together entrepreneur support professionals from across the U.S. and around the world. It’s a one-of-a-kind gathering filled with inspiring keynotes, hands-on sessions, and meaningful conversations focused on what’s next in entrepreneurship, incubation, and innovation.

This year’s conference will spotlight timely trends, proven strategies, and real-world best practices. It will be led by practitioners who are actively shaping entrepreneurial ecosystems in their communities. With attendees representing dozens of countries, ICBI40 is truly a global exchange of ideas and energy.

That’s why we’re especially proud to see Rachel and Jason take the stage.

Their session will highlight something we care deeply about: creating real, meaningful opportunities for students to gain entrepreneurial experience. They’ll share insights from programs like the Entrepreneurship Intern Pilot Program and the Entrepreneurship Lab, along with other initiatives at Missouri State University that are helping students move beyond the classroom and into hands-on, impact-driven learning.

These programs are designed to connect students directly with startups and small businesses. It gives students the chance to build skills, solve real problems, and explore entrepreneurship as a career path. It’s work that’s making a difference, and we’re thrilled to showcase it on an international platform.
