Meet the Author

Dr. Ron Bogart is the CEO and Board Chair of Gold Mechanical, a multistate, employee-owned mechanical contracting firm headquartered in Springfield. Under his leadership, the company has more than doubled its revenue while tripling its ESOP share value.

Raised on a small Midwest farm, Ron learned early lessons about work, responsibility, and resilience, which continue to shape his leadership philosophy today. Since launching his first business in 1992, he has spent more than 30 years leading organizations through growth, ownership transitions, and long-term succession planning, including three decades serving as CEO across multiple companies.

Beyond his role at Gold Mechanical, Ron also serves as fractional CFO for Jordan Essentials and teaches business leadership as an adjunct professor at Evangel University. He holds a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Evangel University, where his research examined how authentic leadership and psychological safety influence organizational performance.
