Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training – 40-hour Basic CIT – POST APPROVED
The Missouri 40- Hour Basic CIT course will cover the following and not limited to:
- Overview of CIT
- Overview of Behavorial Health
- Suicide Prevention
- First Responder Wellness
- Substance Use/Co-occuring
- Medications
- De-escalation
- Lived Experience
- Community Resources
***POST Hours will include Interpersonal (De-escalation and Implict Bias categories), Legal, Skill Development and Techincal Studies. Hours vary based on courses taught.***
