John Taylor works at Elliott, Robinson & Company, LLP as a business consultant specialist. Formerly, he served as the chief of operations at Askinosie Chocolate and, briefly, as the director of administration at G5 Enterprises, from 2016 to 2024. He also teaches on a per-course basis at Missouri State University and Drury University. Prior to working in the private sector, he was an associate professor at Drury, where he taught business courses in entrepreneurship, accounting and management. He currently serves on the Springfield Chamber’s Small Business Council as well as Springfield’s Industrial Development Authority. In his spare time, he coaches student-athletes for a local chapter of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.
