Emily Denniston is the Director of Community Engagement and Operations at efactory. She joined the team in 2023, and in her role, Emily collaborates with members, partners, and the local business community to foster connections, help carry forward the mission of efactory as the front door of business and economic development for the university and enhance student employment experiences.
With over 15 years of experience, Emily previously served as the Vice President of Public Affairs at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. There, she focused on public policy, partnering with business leaders and elected officials to cultivate a supportive environment for business growth at local, state, and federal levels.
An active community member, Emily is a past president of the Board of Trustees for the Springfield-Greene County Library District and has contributed to various boards and committees. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and exploring the beautiful Ozarks.
