Innovate SOMO Week highlights entrepreneurship, tech programming and innovation with partners throughout the region

Expect big news and opportunities to engage April 21 – 25.

Innovate SOMO Week, a dynamic celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the growing tech ecosystem across Southern Missouri, will take place April 21-25. The week will highlight the impact of the Southern Missouri Innovation Network (Innovate SOMO), a network led by Codefi and Missouri State University’s efactory.

Innovate SOMO is a collaborative effort connecting entrepreneurs with resources, fostering innovation and empowering individuals through tech education, business support and talent development across 47 counties in Southern Missouri.

“The network’s strength lies in two primary areas: One, the collaboration and partnership from the leadership of community connectors across the region. And two, the shared idea that together, we make more possible,” said Nicki Donnelson, director of marketing and communications at efactory. “Yes, we’re celebrating impact and big announcements, but we’re also using Innovate SOMO Week to say thank you to all of the partners who say yes and want to improve opportunities and the economic vitality of the areas they serve.”

Innovate SOMO Week is part of the Southern Missouri Innovation Network (Innovate SOMO) and is funded by the Missouri Technology Corporation Regional Node Grant Program. Community members from across the state can participate in a number of live and virtual events:
