Printing

There are several different ways for efactory members to print in the building. Find information about each of them below.

Option 1: Business Suite Mailbox Multi-Function Printer

This printer is the large black machine located by the mailboxes in the Business Suite (1040).

Drivers: You can find the printer drivers that match your operating system here.

IP Address: 146.7.133.239

Functionality: Black and white, color, double sided printing / copying, scan to flash drive, hole punching, stapling

  1. Download the driver under “E-Bridge Current Drivers” titled – “Windows e-Bridge Universal 2 PCL/PS 32/64 Bit Driver”
  2. Open the downloaded driver and run essetup.exe by selecting “Run”
  3. Follow the prompts to install the driver
  4. After completing the driver installation, open Printers & Scanners in your computer’s Settings
  5. Select “TOSHIBA Universal Printer 2” in the Printer & scanners menu
  6. Select “Manage”
  7. Select “Printer Properties”
  8. Select “Ports”
  9. Select “Add Port…”
  10. Select “Standard TCP/IP Port”
  11. Select “New Port”
  12. This will open a new installer prompt – select “next”
  13. Enter in the IP address – 146.7.133.239
  14. Enter in the port name – “efactory Mailroom Printer”
  15. Once install is finished – select “Finish”
  16. With your print code in hand, you are now ready to print! (Please let us know if you need your print code sent to you.)
  1. Download the driver under “E-Bridge Current Drivers” titled – “Mac OS X10.12.6 and later, Duplex, Color”
  2. Open the downloaded driver
  3. Follow the prompts to install the driver
  4. After completing the driver installation, open Printers & Scanners in your computer’s settings
  5. Select “Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax…”
  6. In the pop-up window select “IP”
  7. In “Address” enter the IP address – 146.7.133.239
  8. In “Name” enter the printer’s name – efactory Mailroom Printer
  9. Select “Add”
  10. With your print code in hand, you are now ready to print!

** To print on a Mac you will need to enter in your print code using the print system dialog.**

  1. Open the print system dialog box by pressing Shift + Command + P when going to print or scroll to the bottom of the print settings screen and select “Print using system dialog…”
  2. Select “Printer Options” and “Print Mode”
  3. Check the “Department Code box and enter in your department code.
  4. Select “OK” then “Print”
  1. Plug the printer into your computer (there is a USB-C converter available)
  2. Print as you normally would without downloading the driver.
  3. Will still require a print code. (Please let us know if you need your print code sent to you.)

Option 2: South Hallway Multi-Function Printer

This printer is the large white machine located across from the South Phone Room.

Drivers: Find the printer drivers that match your operating system.

IP Address: 146.7.133.237

Functionality: Black and white, double sided printing / copying, scan to flash drive, hole punching, stapling

  1. Download the driver under “E-Bridge Current Drivers” titled – “Windows e-Bridge Universal 2 PCL/PS 32/64 Bit Driver”
  2. Open the downloaded driver and run essetup.exe by selecting “Run”

  4. After completing the driver installation, open Printers & Scanners in your computer’s Settings

Option 3: Coworking Printer

This printer is located inside Coworking in room 1024.

Functionality: Black and white, color, print, copy, and scan to flash drive

  1. Download the remote print driver
  2. Run setup.exe and install Epson Remote Print
  3. Agree to licensing terms, etc.
  4. The driver will ask for an email address. Use efactoryepson@print.epsonconnect.com
  1. Download the remote print driver
  2. Install the driver. Configuration is not part of the install process.
  3. In Applications/Launchpad, open Epson Remote Print Utility
  4. The utility will ask for an email address. Use efactoryepson@print.epsonconnect.com
  5. Leave the access key field blank
  6. Confirm
  7. Click ‘Add Printer’ then add the registered printer. Make sure ti select the ET-16500 (Remote) option.
  1. Download the ‘Epson iPrint’ app
  2. Select remove on the top right corner
  3. For email address, enter efactoryepson@print.epsonconnect.com
  4. Connect and print

Option 4: Second Floor Printer

This printer is located on the second floor. It is at the end of the hallway of private offices, just around the corner from the Anderson Conference Room.

Functionality: Black and white, color, print, copy, and scan to flash drive

  1. Download the remote print driver
  2. Run setup.exe and install Epson Remote Print
  3. Agree to licensing terms, etc.
  4. The driver will ask for an email address. Use efactoryepson2@print.epsonconnect.com

Option 5: Coworking @ Brick Printer

This printer is located in the workroom at Brick City. You must be on the IDEA Commons network to print.

Functionality: Black and white, color, print, copy, and scan to flash drive

  1. Download the driver that matches your operating system from Epson.
  2. Do NOT run the Epson install utility.
  3. Open your system settings and select Printers & Scanners.
  4. Select “Add Printer.”
  5. Select “IPP” and enter in 10.12.16.58 in the “Address” field.
  6. Enter in how you want to name the printer in “Name” field.
  7. Make sure the printer has found the print driver you downloaded.
  8. Select “Add” to complete setup.
  1. Install Epson iPrint app
  2. You will be asked to agree to the terms and privacy statements and to allow localization to find the printer on the network
  3. When you get to the main screen of the app, select the top blue banner to add a printer
  4. Select “Manual IP”
  5. Select “Add”
  6. Enter in the IP address: 10.12.16.58
  7. Make sure that the WF-C579R Series is selected
