Missouri State University received its designation as a University Center through the U.S. Economic Development Administration in 2023.
Innovate Missouri is a statewide partnership, with a southern Missouri region focus, that connects individuals, employers, and economic development organizations with university and Southern Missouri Innovation Network resources to advance the region’s economic impact.
University Center funding connects people and organizations with university resources and provides no and low-cost opportunities throughout the region.
The Missouri State University Center is a cross-functional partnership, led by the Division of Community and Global Partnerships – efactory, Missouri SBDC at MSU, Jordan Valley Innovation Center, Research Administration; the Provost’s office; and the Center for Resource Planning & Management.
This collaborative approach brings together the expertise of Missouri State University faculty, staff and students to empower businesses and create new jobs throughout the region.
