Work

In 2023, The Wall Street Journal listed Springfield as the #1 city for remote workers. We couldn’t agree more!

While you’re here, take advantage of our coworking spaces, which gives you access to gigabit internet, bottomless (and delicious) coffee and a thriving ecosystem of entrepreneurs and business resources.

Stay

Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of our favorite places to send our friends and family to stay when they visit Springfield.

Take advantage of the 15% discount (upon availability). Call 417.831.3131 and ask for the efactory discount rate. You can also get this discount online.

It’s beautiful, downtown and has all the amenities. While you’re there, don’t miss their rooftop bar, Vantage, which boasts the most breathtaking view in downtown.

You’re steps away from all the hippest eateries, coffee houses and shops in downtown, and less than a mile from Missouri State University and Drury University.

Convenience and hospitality marry in this downtown hotel.

Eat

Springfield loves to eat! You’ll find more than 800 restaurants available, so it would take years to taste them all (and by then, we’d have more).

Here’s just a sampling of some of our absolute favorites (and did we mention, local eateries) to whet your appetite.

Desserts

After you’ve sampled so much of what Springfield has to offer, make sure to drop by and grab a special treat for your sweet tooth.

Hang Out

If you’re looking for where to go in Springfield, we’ve got the best of city life, with fun bars, interactive museums and excellent performing arts venues.

Askinosie Chocolate factory tours offer a behind-the-scenes look into what it takes to craft small-batch, handmade, bean to bar chocolate.

Play a game of bocce while eating and drinking.

This ornate theatre hosts live music, comedians, throwback movies and festivals in downtown.

Throughout the school year, there’s always some sport active on the Missouri State campus – so why not take in a game.

Spring and summer in Springfield means baseball. We’re home to the St. Louis Cardinals’ AA team, the Springfield Cardinals.

Come to Park Central Square and stroll through enchanting and educational exhibits that give you a sense of where Springfield has been and where it’s heading.

Voted America’s Best Aquarium several times, Wonders of Wildlife is a must-see attraction located next to Bass Pro Shops’ Grandaddy Store.

Get Outside. Be Active

Springfield’s in the heart of the Ozarks, and we’ve got the best of the outdoors. When the weather is nice, you’ll find locals on the rivers and lakes as well as hiking and basking in the natural beauty.

Want to get moving and be active indoors? We’ve got that, too.

Need some space for you and your four-legged friend? Take a walk at Bark Yard, where you can have off-leash time or pamper your pet.

We can’t begin to explain how amazing our trails are! It’s more than 200 miles of a planned/developed walking, biking and hiking ecosystem. You’ll need to see it for yourself.

On this 80-acre plot of land, you can run more than 3-miles of trails or explore the grounds to see wildlife. There’s also an educational center indoors to learn about animals that call Missouri home.

Meditate, relax or push yourself during hot yoga. It’s for everybody, and they offer tons of class times to fit into your schedule.

One of the best places to go during a summertime visit to the area is Table Rock Lake. About 45 minutes south of Springfield, you can soak in the sun, swim and enjoy lake life (and the most beautiful sunsets).

Depending upon your interests and activity level, 37 Degree North will customize a getaway or activity for you.

Experienced and first-time climbers love Zenith. It’s got options for everyone.

Coffee and Other Drinks
