We offer continuing education for peace officers. Many courses are offered at the Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) in Camdenton, Missouri.

Missouri Blue Shield Grant Program

The PSTC delivers comprehensive continuing education and training solutions for peace officers across Missouri, and this training is eligible for the Missouri Blue Shield Program. The curriculum is updated with the latest practices, taught by industry experts to ensure that officers stay prepared and confident in this fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Custom POST Training

Through strategic alignment with the Missouri Department of Public Safety’s Missouri Blue Shield Grant Program, the PSTC offers POST “Approved Provider” certified training to Blue Shield Counties and Cities.

Agency Costs

The Public Safety Training Center offers both contract and non-contract rates for training.

Contract Rates

$250 per year, per officer.

This rate guarantees:

  • 24-hour POST continuing-education minimum.
  • Unlimited amount of training hours/courses.
  • Tracking in CLEE.

 

Some courses may require an additional equipment or service fee.

 

Non-Contract Rates

PSTC courses will be available at a per-course rate to all individuals/agencies not under a training contract.

The rate for a basic classroom course is:

  • $60 for a 4-hour course.
  • $120 for an 8-hour course.
  • $15 per hour, per attendee for courses longer than 8 hours.

Some courses may be priced above this basic rate if additional equipment or fees are accrued.
