Coworking is a flexible workspace option that brings together startup founders, small business owners, freelancers and remote workers to share a common workspace and build their networks.
Floating desk members bring their laptop, tablet, etc. with them to the building each time and take everything with them when they leave at the end of the day. Floating desk members have Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. access.
Dedicated desk members can pick a desk, set up monitors, leave notebooks and keyboards, etc. Dedicated desk members have 24/7 access.
Semi-private office members set up a workstation in a space at Brick City that has a bit more privacy with all the same amenities as coworking. This membership comes with 24/7 access.
These terms are interchangeable, and it’s really designed for someone who wants to work from home and:

Unfortunately, no. Each individual must have their own coworking membership if they plan to use the space. However, if one of you will be present more than the other, you may want to get a monthly membership for one and day passes for the other. Day passes are $20 each or 10 passes for $100.
If your team member will be working out of the efactory, then yes. However, if your team member only comes in for a meeting every so often, that person is considered your guest and does not need a membership.
If your client or team member is coming in for a scheduled meeting in a conference room, he or she does not need a membership nor a day pass.
All memberships are automatically billed on the first of each month. If you are starting in the middle of the month, you will receive a prorated rate for the rest of that month. Payment is made online via credit card or electronic check.
No. All coworking memberships are on a month-to-month basis.
Coworking members may receive mail/packages and use 405 N. Jefferson Ave., Springfield, MO 65806 as their listed address.
All private offices come with a 12-month lease commitment. Once the first year is fulfilled, companies may terminate their lease at any point as long as they provide 30 days’ notice in writing to efactory staff.
Offices range in size from 150 to 1,300 square feet. Our 150 square foot offices lease for $300/month. All other offices are $15/per square foot. (Ex: A 500 square foot office would be 500 x 15 = $7,500/annually or $625/month).
We have industry restrictions on our private offices due to the grant funding our center received to revitalize the building. We lease private offices to companies working in: manufacturing, health sciences, logistics and supply chain management, and technology (IT, software, energy solutions, agri-tech).
